The most regulated. The most rewarding. Bhutan done right.

Bhutan is not a destination you book on a comparison site. Permits, the Sustainable Development Fee, a licensed operator requirement, and a Tsechu calendar that closes within days — every element demands planning that only a specialist provides.

Visa requirements & OCI cardholders

Most international visitors must obtain a Bhutan visa before travel — not on arrival. Apply at doi.gov.bt.

Indian nationals may enter on a valid Indian passport or voter ID card. Minors under 18 require a passport or birth certificate with a legal guardian.

OCI Cardholders: traveling on a foreign (non-Indian) passport are treated as international visitors. The OCI card is not recognised for the Indian SDF rate. OCI cardholders pay USD $100 per night and must obtain a tourist visa in advance.
