1. Who We Are

Daffodils Group LLC, trading as Daffodils Travel, is a California LLC providing ground itinerary planning services for India, Nepal, Bhutan, and Sri Lanka. CA Seller of Travel Reg. No. 2163233-70. ASTA Member.

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through daffodilstravel.com, our client forms, email communications, and our booking management system.

2. Information We Collect

We collect personal information in the following circumstances:

2.1 Information you provide directly

  • Contact information: name, email, phone, mailing address
  • Travel preferences: destination, dates, group composition, pace, dietary and accessibility requirements, special occasion information — provided via our Your Travel Journey Blueprint Form
  • Booking information: passport details where required for ground partner coordination, travel dates, group lead details
  • Payment information: processed through secure payment processors. Daffodils Travel does not store card numbers.
  • Communications: emails and notes from consultations

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Website usage data: pages visited, browser type, device information — collected via standard web analytics
  • Cookies: used for website functionality and analytics — see Section 9

2.3 Information from referral sources

We may receive personal information from referral sources — individuals or businesses who have introduced you to Daffodils Travel. All such information is handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide the travel planning and booking management services you have engaged us for
  • Prepare your personalised itinerary based on your travel preferences and requirements
  • Coordinate ground bookings with our verified operational partners in India, Nepal, Bhutan, and Sri Lanka
  • Process planning fee payments and ground package deposits and balances
  • Communicate with you about your itinerary, booking, and travel arrangements
  • Deliver your Pre-Trip Welcome Pack and pre-departure documentation
  • Provide on-trip advisor support during your travel (full-service tiers)
  • Comply with California Seller of Travel legal requirements
We do not use your personal information for unsolicited marketing. We may contact you about Daffodils Travel services with your consent.

4. Sharing Your Information

Daffodils Travel does not sell your personal information to third parties.

4.1 Operational partners

To deliver confirmed itinerary services, we share relevant booking information (names, arrival dates, accommodation requirements) with our verified operational partners in India, Nepal, Bhutan, and Sri Lanka. We do not share financial information, full travel preferences, or communications history.

4.2 Service providers

We use service providers to operate our business. These providers may access personal data only to perform specific functions on our behalf and are contractually required to handle data in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

Specific service providers used in each category may change from time to time. This policy describes the functions performed, not the specific platforms. On request, we will provide a current list of service providers handling your personal data.

4.3 Legal requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Daffodils Travel, its clients, or the public.

6. Data Security

  • Secure, password-protected access to all internal systems and client records
  • PCI-DSS compliant payment processors. Card numbers are not stored by Daffodils Travel.
  • Electronic documents signed through compliant e-signature platforms with full audit trails
In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

7. International Data Transfers

To coordinate ground services in India, Nepal, Bhutan, and Sri Lanka, it is necessary to share certain personal information (typically names and travel dates) with local operational partners in those countries, which may have different data protection laws.

By confirming a booking, you consent to this limited and necessary transfer.

8. Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. For group bookings that include children, the parent or legal guardian provides information on behalf of minor travel party members.

Right to non-discrimination
Exercising any of your CCPA rights will not affect the quality of service or pricing you receive from Daffodils Travel.

Before we act on a request, we will take reasonable steps to verify your identity — usually by matching the details in your request against the information already associated with your inquiry or booking. This protects your information from being disclosed to, or deleted by, anyone other than you. Any information you provide for verification is used only to process your request.

You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. If you do, we will ask the agent for written proof that you have given them permission to act for you, and we may still ask you to confirm your identity with us directly before we proceed.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in services, platforms, or applicable law. Updated versions will be published on daffodilstravel.com with a revised effective date.

Material changes will be communicated to active clients by email.
